Terms of Service
Last updated: April 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at servantkingdemolition.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by Servant King Junk Removal & Demolition (“Servant King,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Site or hiring our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Servant King provides junk removal, demolition, debris hauling, and related services. We hold California State Contractors License Board C-21 Demolition Contractor License #1142322 and are a California Certified Tire Hauler. Services are subject to availability, scheduling, and the terms of any specific written quote you accept.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information you provide and our walkthrough or photo review of the job. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. The quoted price is binding once you accept it in writing (including by text or email). Significant changes in scope (additional items, undisclosed conditions, hazardous materials) may require an updated quote before work continues.
3. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Commercial customers may be invoiced under net-15 or net-30 terms following credit approval. Late payments may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. We reserve the right to refer past-due accounts to collections.
4. Items we do not haul
For safety, regulatory, and liability reasons, we do not transport hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, large quantities of solvents or chemicals, biohazardous waste, or radioactive materials. If hazardous materials are discovered on a job site, work will stop and you will be responsible for retaining a licensed remediation contractor. We are happy to refer specialists.
5. Property protection
Our crew makes reasonable efforts to protect floors, landscaping, walls, and adjacent property during a job. Despite reasonable care, normal wear (scuffs, light marks) may occur during the removal of large or heavy items. We carry general liability insurance for accidental damage caused by our negligence. Pre-existing damage and damage caused by structural conditions outside our control are excluded.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled start without charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a trip fee equal to 50% of the quoted minimum or $100, whichever is less, to cover crew dispatch costs.
7. Authority to remove items
By scheduling a job, you represent that you are the property owner or have authority from the owner to direct removal of items at the property. You are responsible for ensuring that items removed are not subject to disputed ownership, active liens, or pending probate claims that would prohibit disposal.
8. Donation and disposal
Items hauled by Servant King become our property at the time of removal. We donate, recycle, or dispose of items at our discretion through our partners (including Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Vincent De Paul, and Snowline Hospice) or through licensed disposal facilities. We do not retain items for personal use.
9. Demolition-specific terms
Demolition projects performed under our CSLB C-21 license are governed by the written contract executed between Servant King and the customer (or general contractor). Permits, utility disconnects, asbestos surveys (when required), and HOA notifications are coordinated as specified in that contract. Scope changes, change orders, and pricing adjustments follow standard construction industry practice.
10. Photos and testimonials
Servant King may take before/during/after photos of completed jobs for portfolio, marketing, and social media use. By scheduling a job, you grant us permission to use such photos provided they do not include personally identifiable information of you or your property without your consent. You may opt out of photo use at any time by notifying us in writing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Servant King's total liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the price you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Joaquin County, California, unless required otherwise by California law (e.g., small claims court or consumer-protection statutes that grant alternative venues).
13. SMS and Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and SMS Communications Disclosure, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at servantkingdemolition.com/terms. Material changes affecting active jobs will be communicated to affected customers directly.
